After months of rebuilding the system from scratch. We are happy to Announce the Changelogfy 3.0!
The New version is with a lot of news, let's check together. Check new tools:
Admin Panel
Our admin panel has been completely rebuilt and with a lot of data migration to support the new features.
We love VueJS and it's our main javascript framework. For styling the applications, widgets, newsfeed and etc, we choose the tailwindcss.
The layout has also been completely redesigned but retains the same identity.
Newsfeed
The news feed has been completely rebuilt, featuring a new layout for a better user experience and new features to enhance communication.
The New In-App Widget
The In-App widget consists of two projects.
First is our "SDK", you will recognize it by widget.changelogfy.com/index.js, the SDK is responsible for getting all the data passed from users to the widget, such as selector, app_id, user data, segments, language and etc.
The SDK is built by JS vanilla and preact "Fast 3kB alternative to React with the same modern API", preact is perfect for our scenario with millions of requests.

Tracking and segmenting users
This is probably one of the most requested features in 2021, with many customers wishing to deliver changelogs to the right audience.
Let's use Changelogfy as an example, we currently have four plans, essential, professional, and scale plan.
We create four user segments to filter users by subscription plan, so we can deliver changelogs only to the right plans.
Another possibility is to use the posting message to encourage users to make an upsell, for example, the user is in the free plan, and you publish the changelog for the free and essential plan, but the feature is for the essential plan, you can enter a CTA, "update now" or something similar.
Multiple languages
Many of our customers are global companies, where English is the primary language, but also needs to be published in the user's native language, such as Spanish or Portuguese.
From now, the news feed and widget in the app support multiple languages at the same time, it's a great way to keep your audience up to date on the latest product update in a native language.
For example, feed.changelogfy.com/en will display all our posts in the English version, feed.changelofy.com/pt_BR will display all our posts in Portuguese.
Currently, we support the languages below, but more options are coming.

New widget in the app
We rebuilt our widget in the app from scratch, with a new design interface, and many new features.
Search inside the widget, now it's possible to search changelogs, by title or content inside the widget.
Filter by labels: You can filter which posts will be used based on labels.
By changing the language dynamically, if your app has multiple languages and the user can change the language of the interface, you can change the widget language easily.
Single Sign-On now is possible to auto-login users into the news feed directly from the widget in the app.
It works fine with private feed where you want only to give access to authorized people.

New Dashboard Analytics
Dashboard Analytics has been completely rebuilt too, with new metrics like such as email delivery, post-performance, newsfeed, and widget views, and more.
New API Methods
APIs now have a new brand design, each user can create their tokens to access project data when they have access.
Posts
The Post area gain great improvements too:
- New filter at posts home.
- Labels within the content of the post, this is great for large changelogs with different areas of the product.
- After you create the user segments, you can choose within the post editor whether to target the post audience or not.
Migration from other service providers to Changelogfy
We've added more service providers to our importing tools like announcekit, getbeamer, release notes, and more.
Integrations
We've added a completely rebuilt integrations area, with new integrations, and much more.
